RE: UCF - Teh Decline, part 2
I only expected us to win 8 or 9 this year with new QB and other key starters gone, I expected to lose one or both of Stanford, Pitt. and at least 1 conf game. UCF is not an Alabama, or Oh State that can reload year after year. Like everyone in the AAC we get the recruits that usually need a year or 2 to mature and get better. I am surprised at how poorly the Oline has done.

We won the American Conference Championship game in 2016. WTF you talking about?
I bolded what I'm talking about. One year doesn't match UCF mini-dynasty. I want more. If you're satisfied with one year, so be it, but I'm not.

You’re right I don’t want to win any more.

RE: UCF - Teh Decline, part 2
Eh, we went 6-7 in KZ's true freshman season. He followed that up with two consecutive undefeated seasons.
Now people are freaking out because we're 4-2 with our current true freshman QB. We're heavily favored in all six remaining regular season games and can easily finish 10-2.
Goes to show you the current strength of UCF Football when a potential 10-2 season is considered a "decline."

In Orlando, we celebrate championships, Top 10 wins, and Top 10 finishes.
In Memphis, you celebrate UCF losses.
Think about that for a second.

Not celebrating at all. Just laughing at the arrogant fan base along with many of your conference mates. Think about it for a second.

LOL, I'm not sure we "suck" now. We're 4-2 and lost very close games to two good teams on the road. Both may be top 25 teams by the end of the year. Are we world-beaters this year? No. Do we suck? Naw, we're top half of the conference and a bowl team this year. I think we go 9-3 or 8-4. UCF still dominates at home.
Hopefully next year when Gabriel has more experience we'll be back to being dominant. Milton's first year we went 6-7. It's not unexpected that we would take a step back this year.

Not a fair comparison and the second time it's been made in this thread. Yes, Milton's UCF team was 6 and 7 in his true freshman year. But that was coming off an 0 and 12 winless year. So Milton's UCF team was +6 in the win total. Can Gabriel get to KZ's level? Perhaps, but he is far behind that level now.

Sorry if you find it arrogant that our program has won 4 championships in the league’s first 6 seasons. We don’t think that’s arrogant. We simply strive for excellence.
UCF can still have a better season in 2019 than Memphis has ever had as a member of the AAC, so I wouldn’t start popping the champagne bottles just yet.

Teams that just landed their first fbs win aren’t allowed to join in on piling on UCF.
