Out of conference games were measuring sticks and opportunities to grow the program under Neal Brown. I'm not sure that's our M.O. anymore and I really think we're going to get waffle stomped down the drain Saturday.

We have a passing offense, and no running game. No defense and mediocre to good special teams. If we face a team that can defend the pass, we will get blown out. We are one dimensional as an entire team. So far Chip's offense has shown it will absolutely torch most Sun Belt defenses but Louisiana and App State at the end of the season will be good enough to slow us down and take 2 to 3 possession leads if we can't get our house in order. Missouri would win the Sun Belt, and that includes APP so I'm not thinking its going to be a good game.

I hope I’m wrong, but I don’t see ULM beating Memphis either.

ULM likely gets beat by 20+ here. Memphis is their usual explosive self on offense. Defense could be susceptible to long drives so long as you stay ahead of the chains and make plays on third down. This may shorten the game and have it within reach in the 4th where you can make a push.

I would say that they are ripe for a let down as this game is sandwiched between two conference games but they are undefeated and likely want to remain that way. They are also going to be in show time mode because UCF has one loss and to leapfrog them they need to be in position later in the season. That means winning games that you should win, and win big.

I can’t disagree with anything you said.
