I post the thread whenever I wake up. Are you really tracking my posting times? Do you not see how creepy and weird that is? Your obsession with all things UCF... and me for that matter... is getting out of hand.

It's all usf fans have to look forward to. Clearly their team can't beat anyone so all they can hope for is to see UCF lose so it will distract them from how terrible their program is.

No, we (and by we, I mean most of the country who aren't Central fans) just enjoy exposing most of your obnoxious fan base's hypocrisy...

I'm guessing that there are more UCF fans in the country nationwide than USF fans, including myself. USF had their chance when they climbed to #2 in the BCS polls only to choked away a great season, only to never have won a Big East/AAC title.

I'm definitely under no delusion that there are more USF fans than UCF fans. And I'm also fully aware that many of our current conference brethren were unhappy with our invitation to the Big East since we "never paid our dues." But we also never had newbie fans coming out of the woodwork with a gigantic superiority complex who proceeded to tell every other fan base how great we were or how we were the only ones who knew the right way to do things. Nor did we create an army of people who go after anybody who gives any perceived slight on virtually every social media platform. So yes, I'm quite enjoying the comeuppances from around the country yesterday and today.

An unfortunate aspect of the current board setup is that the ignore list only works when others don't quote said ignoree...

That said, I never have rooted for an OOC loss by any team, regardless of how I feel about the AAC team. Did I want UCONN to win this week? You bet! I'm disappointed whenever an AAC team loses OOC.

Within conference it's fair game to root against certain teams, depending on who you root for.

Maybe you guys should be worrying about beating your first FBS opponent in your last 15 games instead of chomping at the bit to criticize UCF for losing their first regular season game in 3 years.

Do you not see how pathetic that is? There are 10 teams in The American with more of a reason to bark at us than usf. The fact you’re celebrating that UCF is dropping a few spots in the polls as some sort of big win for usf should tell you everything you need to know about your current standing in college football.

07-coffee3

and do you realize how pathetic you were when yall crapped the bed and went 0-12. There is not a single team in this conference that has done anything as embarrassing as that.

You just got beat by Pitt... a very mediocre Pitt. 2 weeks ago USF had to take crap for our loss... guess whos turn it is this week?

Sit back, take your ribbing just like everyone else has to Francis.

At the end of the end of the day we lost by a single point on the road. Enjoy your day in the sun, it’s still funny how you can’t bask in your own team’s accomplishments. We’ll meet up at the end of the season, we’ll who is talking Sh!t then. Btw, we are still ranked how about you?

Hahaha. So this is what it’s really about? You’re mad that people criticized usf for losing to a Georgia Tech team that went on to lose to The Citadel so you want to take your angst out on UCF losing by one point, on a trick play, on the road, to the defending ACC Coastal Champs... as if they’re some sort of equivalent? lmaoooo

Like I said earlier, just worry about beating an FBS team this season. Only one of our two schools is embarrassing this league.

Pitt almost beat Penn State, Georgia Tech lost to the Citadel. Completely different. usf hasn't done anything ever, I'd much rather go 0-12 and later go 28-2 than live in complete irrelevancy like usf.

usf- "We were #2 for a week!"

and like I said... UCF has been the biggest embarrassment of the AAC, and you just lost again... and without any grace, as usual.

Ya know, the entire board might not think UCF fans were such dicks if they would just take the loss and say "yep, we didnt play our best." and move on.

Neither of these statements are true. Dont try and drag the rest of the board into y'alls sibling rivalry.

Thanks, WH. The worst part is their entire forum says things like this on a constant basis so they start to believe it and they regurgitate it over and over. There are no opposing viewpoints over there. Very scary stuff.

It's almost like it's not about the ranking and more about the gratification.

Next you're gonna tell me we're not going to be treated to the rapid posting of which voters are disrespecting 'the AAC,' the new polls and the latest Colley Matrix info...

1. SMU, 4-0, huge win over ranked rival
2. Memphis, 3-0, Tigers fans gloating over win against bye
3. UCF, 3-1, tough road loss. Have to say that 28-1 over two years is a phenomenal record to be proud of. The Knights have put themselves and by extension the American on the right path. They remain undefeated against the rest of us.
4. Tulane 3-1 big conference win in exciting comeback
5. Temple 2-1 bad loss after big win, how will Owls respond?
6. Cincinnati 2-1, bye week
7. Tulsa 2-2, good win over Wyoming
8. Navy 2-0, hard to place
9. Houston, 1-3, best one win team in conference
10. ECU, 2-2, can beat FCS, not FBS
11. USF, 1-2, maybe celebrating UCFs loss a little too much but not much else to cheer for
12. UConn, 1-3, Indiana beat the 28 point spread

RE: Rank the AAC after Week 4
Watching the video of hoisting the UCF championship trophy, with all the fanfare (over and over again) makes me almost glad that UCF had the wind knocked out of their sails, though it would have been great for the conference if UCF had beaten Pitt.

No matter who one roots for, people are going to get physically nauseous watching that trophy-raising video playing repeatedly. It's creepy and the trophy is treated almost as a fetish object in the video. I'd object to it even if I were a UCF fan.

Having said that, UCF is going to be dangerous the rest of the way, after having their pride injured in that road loss. Would not be surprised to see them go undefeated the rest of the way.

It's a damn shame that UCF won't be playing either SMU or Memphis during the regular season.

Mostly likely, UCF will play one of those teams in the championship game.

The SMU-Memphis game could be the most outstanding game of the regular season in the AAC.

I hope that either SMU or Memphis will beat UCF in the championship game, to knock them down a peg and prove that the AAC isn't just UCF and a bunch of also-rans.

The rest of the AAC East is totally up for grabs. I'm not that impressed with Cincy, which lost to OSU by 40 points, or by USF. UConn is the dregs. I could see Temple winding up in second place if they can beat Cincy on the road, but Temple's offense s going to have to score more than 20 or 22 points per game for that to happen. It's possible that the AAC East will be UCF and a bunch of also-rans this year.

Navy is pretty good this season, as is the AAC West as a whole. I would rank Navy in 4th place, or tied for 4th with Cincinnati and maybe Tulane.

RE: Rank the AAC after Week 4
This is the best Football year that I can remember in our conference. Every game that I've seen has been entertaining. We are going into week 5 and I bet there are 8-9 teams that can win this thing, including my beloved Wave!!!!

UCF - Still the best until someone knocks them off.
Memphis - As Usual
Cincy - I just think they are a notch better than 4-6
Tulane - Had a few breaks against a good Houston team. Good Def
Temple - Underrated. Tulane v Temple will be a great game
SMU - Only this far down because I'm just not sold on your Defense
Houston - Will still win 7-8. Had some tough breaks or would be 3-1
Tulsa - Sneaky Good
Navy - Just flat out consistent
USF - I just don't see a spark. No excitement

RE: Rank the AAC after Week 4

UCF - Still the best until someone knocks them off.
Memphis - As Usual
Cincy - I just think they are a notch better than 4-6
Tulane - Had a few breaks against a good Houston team. Good Def

wow. We are 4-0 and just beat a legit top 25 team on their field. Two of our other wins are against really good G5 teams. Yet you rank us 6th in the AAC because you say our defense is questionable. lol The improvement in our defense over the past couple of seasons is one of the reasons we are winning, and Kevin Kane is one of the best young G5 coordinators in the country. We still have holes but our D is no longer a liability.

BTW, Tulane has wins over FIU, Missouri St and it took a miraculous comeback at home to beat a 1-3 Houston team and that gets you 4th in the rankings?? 03-lol

RE: Rank the AAC after Week 4
Tier 1: Ran the table OOC: SMU, Memphis
Tier 2: Hasn't played enough or mostly dominant: Navy, UCF
Tier 3: Potential to win the AAC but still needs work: Temple, Tulane, Houston, Cincinnati
Tier 4: Still has a Lloyd Christmas chance at making CCG: usf, Tulsa
Tier 5: Tanking for draft picks: ECU
Tier 155: Not enough talent to make the 24 team FCS post-season: UConn
