Exclamation Rank the AAC after Week 2
1. UCF — Offense hasn’t skipped a beat and defense is playing stout
2. Memphis — Defense was suspect today but two solid wins
3. Temple — So far just a blowout win but no bad losses
4. Houston — Last week’s loss was respectable and a three score win today
5. Cincinnati — Disappointing performance today after a solid UCLA win
6. Tulane — Not easy to go into Jordan-Hare and give Auburn fits
7. SMU — Blowout win over one of CUSA’s top teams for 2-0 start
8. Navy — Only this low by virtue of not having enough data on them
9. Tulsa — Solid win on the road after a tough outing last week
10. East Carolina — Good blowout win hopefully starts to build confidence
11. UConn — Went up a few scores then allowed Illinois to get back in it
12. South Florida — 10 points scored this season by offensive savant Bell

RE: Rank the AAC after Week 2
1. UCF — Better competition will tell us more. Technically Memphis has a slightly better resume.
2. Memphis — A P6 win
3. SMU — two good G4 wins teams for 2-0 start
4 Tulane -respectable loss.
5. Cincinnati — P6 win and a beat down by the best of the Big 10
6. Houston — Win the ones you are suppose to win. Houston did this.
7 Temple - not enough data. Next week will tell us more.
8. Navy — See above
9. Tulsa — Solid win
10. East Carolina — Confidence building win.
11. UConn — Confidence building loss.
12. South Florida — Going south.

RE: Rank the AAC after Week 2
I agree with the general consensus that the top 2 in some order are UCF and Memphis, there is a big jumble from 3 to 6, maybe to 8, then Tulsa, ECU, USF and UConn are the bottom 4, in some order. I have a feeling Houston and Cincinnati will rise.

For now, I will say:

UCF
Memphis

Tulane
SMU
Temple
Houston

Navy
Cincy

USF
Tulsa
ECU
UConn

We get Maryland who just demolished who the “experts” thought was the 2nd best team in the whole ACC so we’ll know a lot more about who we are after that game. I think Maryland gets ranked this week. Huge game for us.

RE: Rank the AAC after Week 2
1. Memphis (2-0) P5 win
2. UCF (2-0) two dominating wins including beating FAU better than OSU did at their home field
3. SMU (2-0) dominating win over a top CUSA team
4. Cincinnati (1-1) dropped due to bad loss and maybe not so great win
5. Temple (1-0) idle this week
6. Navy (1-0) idle this week
7. Tulane (1-1) some ok things against Auburn
8. Tulsa (1-1) maybe SJ is terrible but a road win is impressive
9. Houston (1-1) PV win meh
10. ECU (1-1) looking better against their FCS foe
11. UConn (1-1) barely beat a bad FCS and lost to bad P5
12. USF (0-2) a blowout loss and losing to a rebuilding team

Looks like we were just playing with the wrong QB. Our Defense looks solid and the offense should pick up with a QB that actually goes through his progressions and doesn't look like a new born deer in the pocket.

Pretty stupid to rank us last. I'll bookmark this for laughs at the end of the year

Why do multiple lists have USF last? Purely on merit. Yes, the Bulls could win the next 10 games and move to the top. Last year I had Temple last after two weeks then we beat Maryland and went 7-1 in conference. But the USF performance so far stinks.

you're ranked based on what you are now and how you've been trending, not what you can be. 1 TD in 2 games doesn't a respectable ranking make, especially when you're on an 8 game losing streak.
