GSU vs Furman
7PM

GSU Stadium

ESPN3

So...not a lot of exposition needed. Slightly nervous about the game itself. Much more nervous about Gameday experience for what we hope is a large crowd. Screw up parking or concessions and people don't come back. Lose and people don't come back.

I'll shut up now as this athletics staff has not missed a note for about a month now.

I’m interested to see how much attendance is affected by the big win. Hope the excitement brings people out.

Same here. Would love to see if some ATL bandwagon fans start to venture into Panther games.

The excitement with all the ATL pro teams posting on their social media about it, plus GSU's offering of free tickets to anyone displaced by Dorian, and the 500-600 Furman fans, this game gets 17-19k.

It'll be a good atmosphere at Turner Field.

Yeah like...a legit 17k. Someone who’s there take some pictures!

Rice got 17k last night against WF.

I bet GSU gets at least that against an FCS team.

So far 10 minutes to kick, I am disappointed. People are still coming in I guess and yes it's ridiculously hot but I expected traffic jams on Capitol.

Furman up 13-3. Letdown is in full effect. Hopefully GSU finds a way to win.

We do not look good so far.

EDIT: The good news is that the end zone Furman keeps kicking PATs into is nice and full.

I mean, I guess. I'm not sure it will be full for long. It's sad, because nearly every time a G5 gets a program defining win, they blow the very next game. It's almost like the universe needs to balance itself.

I feel like I'm all off on my calibration of what FBS football is supposed to look like. From what I can tell, Tennessee, Furman, and GSU all have about the same level of talent, and Furman executes the best of the three.

I want GS to take a good hard look at Furmans version of the option. It’s like a beautiful hybrid

Definitely had us off balance this half. I wonder if they've shown more looks than we were expecting to see...? (Their passing game has definitely been a lot smoother than I wad expecting.)

Also, the student section is full and still here. That is the most important thing to me.
