Per the conference game thread bylaws, i'm within the allowable timeframe to post this thread!
Please refer to Sticky Post D, Paragraph 3, subsection 1.
In that case....
CHARGE ON KNIGHTS!!!
This game is going to be a UCF home game. Knight Nation is taking over Boca Raton (translated to Mouth Rat, terrible name for a city). If you thought the Wisconsin Badgers take over of Raymond James was bad, wait till you see Knight Fans dominate this stadium.
The flying Kiffins are without their star RB from last season. Hopefully, they put up more of a fight than FAMU did.
Fully expect to see both UCF QBs in the 1st quarter again. Wimbush needs improved accuracy or Gabriel is going to be named the starter. I think the QB competition continues into the Stanford game. This FAU game should give both QBs a nice proving ground. I'd say based on the limited snaps last week, Gabriel ran the offense more efficiently and with a quicker pace. At the end of the day, I think both QBs can win us an AAC title. I wont be one of the fans chanting for Gabriel to start but I fully expect the fan base to get rabid quickly even if we win big in our games with Wimbush as the starter.
I know Kevin Smith is on the FAU staff but its still cool to see him. I attended UCF during that 2007 run, so he's always going to have a special place in my black and gold heart.
I think UCF will win, but I wouldnt overlook them . I caught their game against Ohio State and the score wasnt a great example of the true game. I think with proper officiating that game was 14 points. Ohio State would have won either way, but FAU is actaully pretty decent this year, or they had they game of their season last week.
UCF needs to get up on them early. FAU has a tendency to not come back well. If they strike first and hang in through the first half, this could get scary in the second half. It should be a UCF win, but I wouldnt bet too high on the over.

ohh I agree, Kiffin is not a good HC but he is excellent at offense. Then there is Spencer who was a great DC for Ok State. Hopefully, Hype has the team ready for an FAU team which should be able to score points. The x-factor while this is FAU Stadium, FAU will have a minority of crowd. I know we bought tickets from FAU STH and expect others did the same.
This could be a trap game if not for the UCF crowd.
Was on campus about 9am
Surprised about the number of cars and RVs that early. They were out and collecting $ and checking permits already. Came in off of Spanish River, quickest and most direct way to the stadium.
