There was a truck in Tiger Lane with a poster sign in the windshield of a Landshark, Brown Bear, and traditional Rebel that read "Hotty Toddy, Gosh Almighty. Who the Hell are we?"

But no, Justin Fuente got Memphis back on the map and relevant again, but he passed the baton to Mike Norvell after he resigned and accepted the VT job. Norvell had nothing to do with Fuente's resuscitation of Memphis football.

Except that Norvell has continued to grow the program & he is a better recruiter than Fuente across the board. Maybe now with the roster depth & Fuller, he'll have a defense too.

Absolutely! I only said Fuente resuscitated Tiger Football via CPR and laid the foundation. Norvell had nothing to do with that. Norvell has carried the baton. He's nabbing regular 4 stars now and I remember all the years when nabbing a 3 star was a big deal for our program.
