I get that Memphis thinks calling Ole Miss that is a dig, but it seems a bit bizarre.

What does this mean? The University of Mississippi calls themselves Ole Miss. How is it a dig from memphis?

The real question is why Mississippi fans continue to call their university the nickname slaves used for the wife of their slave master. Perhaps we Memphis fans can choose not to use that nickname because we arent racist ********.

If you want to stay downtown, Flight isnt bad. Itta Bena is a hidden restaurant on top of BB Kings. Not bad either. McEwen's is closer to your hotel. Always a solid option.

Oh yea, and Felicia Suzannes is always above average.

Ole Miss fans hate being called Mississippi. Jackie Sherrill used to call them Mississippi every time he referred to them and they would get livid.

I guess this something similar to Ohio State suing Ohio U. for their use of the word "Ohio"...?

Now I've heard that THE Ohio State University is trying to trademark the word "The".

Brady Hoke always used to refer to them simply as "Ohio". Too bad he sucked, or that might have become a nice little dig.

If you’re on Beale late night, then the Blues City cafe is good.........this will sound weird but it’s incredible.....their Gumbo cheese fries are incredible. Apparently it’s a Chris Webber staple.
