RE: AAC coaches Talk Anonymously About Conference Foes for 2019
This is probably just like the Coaches' Poll, these are comments from some grad student and not the Head Coach
But...I think it would be funny to try and guess who wrote what, assuming it was HCs.
“They’re sloppy, and they need to work on their discipline."
-Randy Edsall about South Florida
(That's not fair I guess, everything is funny if Randy said it)
“Honestly, no coach could really tell you why things haven’t worked out lately. Is it culture? They should be better than they’ve been.”
-Randy Edsall about Tulsa
"They would have a winning conference record in the ACC or the Big 12."
- Dana Holgorson about UCF
"You always compare USF and UCF, and right now USF is the almost version of the Knights. They look as talented and big, they can score and they have bodies on defense, but they’re not the same."
- Josh Heupel on South Florida (for the ultimate troll job)

USF is building their program without NCAA violations. I guess that is the biggest difference.

I would think that they all are. I sure am. Do you think Edsall would have come back if he knew the program would relegate itself 2 years in?
Nobody should feel sorry for Randy. The program is the disaster that it is thanks to him not flying back with the team right after the Fiesta Bowl and then resigning the next morning (only to set in motion the series of bad coaching hires that never would have happened if he had never left). He is now just cleaning up the mess that he created, so he deserves nobody's pity.

Since they were anonymous quotes, I am not sure that we can rule out Edsall as the source of the quote.
I feel sorry for him.

They are just there until P5 calls, just like the schools. #purgatory
Except, Houston got their coach from a P5.
So did Cincinnati at one time.
