Couple of observations:

Todd Ceintino is not a D1 qb. watched him through HS. wasnt even the best QB on HS team.
Losing Ed sucks. He was a huge motivator on that team. At least coach Brown returned.

RE: ? For Temple fans
I watched Bill Curry run Tim Couch out of the option
Bobby Wallace run the spread with DB at QB
These guys ego's sometimes override their brain

My gut tells me his OFF is not gonna fit Temple talent
Foley leaving is not good sign

Thou I will admit i checked his record at No I'll
His D was tough
He won 10-11 games in the begining, enrollment dropped
Had to play money games OOC, 8-5 become the norm

So Carey's teams had to start punching above their weight class while in the MAC?

Interesting.

There's absolutely zero to suggest he's not a D-I QB. If nothing else, he had a bunch of P5 offers. The guy you're saying was better than him was such a better player that he settled for playing NAIA baseball?

Toddy was a damn good HS football player. Is he a starting QB for a good D-I team? I'm not sure, but he's a D-I QB.

He'll get his shot after Russo leaves.

I am not a FBS coach or talent evaluator by any means. However it didn’t take me long to realize Marchi was not a FBS QB; Centeio on the other hand looks promising granted with a small sample size. Good news is if Russo stays healthy we won’t need this answered until 2021.

As good as PJ Walker was...I think Temple is about to get their best 2 years of QB play from Russo these next 2 years. Can they take advantage?

Zoo I agree with you, that's why I'm very anxious this season
I think Temple can go 11-1 this yr
It doesn't take much to upset the applecart
