Yeah could do without Frederick Prosch, Jr.: (Southern Intercollegiate Athletic Association) (1909–1913), (17–20)... Only coach with a losing record...

Fortunately, he quit 84 years before KenPom started measuring.

Clearly Memphis is the cream of the crop and will lead the AAC in the future as a top 4 basketball conference.

As a Tiger fan since the late 1960s, I have no problem with KenPom rating the Memphis program No. 22 since 1997. I could even see an argument to have the program rated lower than that.

Does KenPom factor in vacated wins?

How are we only 30th ???

Dang, we've only had 1-2 relatively bad years in that time span.

Every team in the Big East is in the top 75 with the exception of Depaul at 101. But yea the AAC is better lol

Only 2 Sweet Sixteens and no Elite Eights in the 22(?) years the rankings cover is probably what does it.

I don’t have any issue with Temple at 66. Most of the years covered are Chaneys final years then Dunphy. You could describe many of those years as average or if you prefer mediocre.
As for the BE comparison, during the allotted time span the BE was arguably the best conference in college basketball (ACC fans will debate this) But please pay attention to this: the BE now is very different than the BE then.

Yeah. In that timeframe we've had 2 Elite 8s but also the worst season in our entire history as well as just overall mediocre success in the past 10+ years. I'd say a little higher than 66 just because of the E8s and the conference titles but I'm not expecting top 30 or anything.

Honestly I forgot about the E8s. So moving up a bit is probably justified. I have always believed KenPom underrated Temple somewhat.
