Flashback Friday #3
This was the inaugural game for Trojan Arena in 2012. This game was being hyped for over a year in anticipation of Mississippi State coming to Troy. The Bulldogs were coming off a season where they won 21 games and were ranked as high as #15 during the season. This game still holds the record for the highest attended game in Troy history (5,120).

Troy got the upset win at home in a thriller.

The 'Firsts' and the 'Lasts'

October 12th, 2013:
The Panthers inaugural SBC Conference Game was an explosive affair in the Dome, with both squads combing for nearly 1,100 offensive yards as the Trojans were able to sneak away with a touchdown victory over the Panthers.

Before Panther fans get fussy over having a losing highlight, here's GSU's FIRST Sun Belt conference victory two years later against the Aggies of New Mexico State..

September 5th, 2009:
Over 26,000 Mobilians were in attendance to watch the South Alabama Jaguars play and win their first ever football game in program history against the Hargrave Military Academy 30-13.

November 16th and 23rd, 2013:
After decades of being dominant members of the SOCON, the Mountaineers & Eagles played their final FCS football games prior to making the jump to FBS level, with both defeating SOCON foes Elon and Western Carolina.

September 1st, 2012:
While it wasn't exactly a picturesque debut in the Bobcats' one and only season in the WAC, the glimmer moment did come as Texas State scored their first ever FBS victory over in-state foe Houston 30-13.
