I second this.

My 86 year old mother was admitted over a week ago to the hospital and I have been basically 16 hours a day in the room since then. I love college football and my Wolfpack. I was afraid I may never be able to watch another CFB game with her when I visit. If all continue as it has the past few days, it looks I will be blessed to have another season with her.
This board was the one thing that allowed my mind to be off things for a little bit during this week. I know there has been times my sarcasm was like asking besides that Mrs. Lincoln, how was the play? I wanted to thank the AAC board especially. This is a passionate board and one of the better CFB discussions board around. Thank you for the discussions this past week.
Thoughts and prayers for you and your mother. I experienced a similar emergency last year with my mother. As much as I love my Tigers, they aren't going to be at my bedside 16 hours a day when my time comes for that needed support, only friends and family. God bless your family during this time.

Again another big thank you everyone. She took a slight turn down so I am still at the hospital. So continued prayers are appreciated and am praying for others who mentioned their parents as well.
@ILM, you are so right. I am so glad last year selling my game tickets to watch the game with her on TV when she visited us last fall. God willing, I will have many games to attend in the future. Only so many games remain left to watch with her and I want to treasure those as much as I can. God Bless everyone on this board.

Great news! Hope she makes a speedy recovery and hope the Wolfpack has a great season for you two to enjoy... well, maybe aside from the ECU game. ;-)

Great news for your mom's release! Enjoy as much as you can with her. I am doing the same with my 90 year old dad who loves to talk sports.
