We'll see, but its hard to imagine that he will struggle to recruit. Wedge is very charismatic and I think the idea of playing for a guy that managed for 10 years in MLB and won a national championship will be a fairly easy sell for kids.

HCEW chose to keep pitching coach Mike Pelfrey and then added (now former) UNCC Head Coach Loren Hibbs as Assistant Athletic Director for Baseball Operations/Player Development.

Coach Hibbs led UNCC for the last 27 seasons but decided it was time to come home and help HCEW fix Shocker baseball.

Good job Shockers! Our limp dick AD is gonna give Jewett another useless year to burn down the program, same as he did with Dunleavy this last year. Hopefully we make a power move like this and get AAC baseball back where it needs to be.

With ECU, Tulane, WSU up to normal standards and something decent out of Houston, Cincy, FL schools, and surprisingly UCONN, the AAC should be a top 4 conference most years! #P6

AAC Baseball has been a Top 3-5 conference every year. And there's nothing surprising about UCONN Baseball. We are the Northeast's flagship program.
