I don't mind, either. It provides an opportunity for the team to find out why certain things may work and others may not. For example, if we have a certain pass protection break down against Syracuse but not against the FCS team, we can go back to the tapes and see what both teams did when we were in that protection. This is how adjustments get made for MAC play.

I’ve heard various coaches say everybody knows what the other guy is going to do in terms of scheme. Then it comes down to execution and matchups and the cat and mouse stuff of adjustment. We had some very obvious weak spots last season that made it hard to adjust. Even so, we need to get way better at that. Some of our second half really sucked.
