We saw the new HBP rule come into effect in Saturday's game with Texas.

Texas wins game one 3-1 in ten innings. Cajuns tied it in the ninth and probably should have won it, but failed to get a timely hit.

Texas wins game two 6-5. Longhorns get five runs in the third and Cajuns get four in the fourth. Texas hits a homer in the seventh and the Cajuns, once again, score in the ninth but come up a run short.

Cajuns win game three 8-6. TCU transfer Dalton Horton took the mound for the first time in nearly two years (shoulder problems) and allowed just one run through five innings. Gavin Bourgeois drove in three for Louisiana.

The three game series drew 16,222 fans. GREAT college baseball atmosphere. Texas fans had a great time and said they'd like to come back. We're okay with that.

Bobcats take down Missouri State 10-0. Cats move to 2-1 on the year, host Baylor on Tuesday night.

Louisiana South Alabama and Ga Southern all win 1 of 3 at ranked teams. All 3 came very close to winning the series.

I am amazed at how well our pitching held up over a marathon of 35 innings. This team might actually be pretty decent after all.

Oh yes. How about down 5-3 two on with two outs, in the bottom of the 9th, full count and we get that call against us on a ball way out of the zone.
