The Sunbelt Conference has tweeted out that all softball teams will wear a helmet sticker with their respective team colors to honor the memory of Geri Ann Glasco. She was the daughter of Louisiana Coach Glasco and was a volunteer assistant coach for the Ragin Cajuns who was killed a few weeks back in a tragic automobile accident. She was a former All American softball player who played for Georgia and Oregon. She was only 25 years old. I cannot imagine the pain Coach Glasco's family is going through, but he has been a great leader for the girls on the team during this difficult time. The Cajuns have dedicated their season to Geri Ann.

Terrible and so sad. Here's hoping all involved heal and grow because of the blessings she brought, and recover from their loss.

I saw the tweet about the stickers, but didn't have time to read through what happened. Thanks for the info. Very sad indeed. As a father to two daughters, I couldn't even imagine what Coach Glasco and her family are going through.
