Glad we got the Win, and a little help from the Cajuns last night.

Ugh....if only we did not start the second half 0 for 8.......it's part of the game man.

Absolutely agree on crazy good/bad shooting streaks that both teams experienced last night. But my sleepwalking comment wasn't just a typical fan homerism. In the first half, our players didn't bother actively communicating with one another on defense and lost assignments in space with loose ULL players running free in our paint that allowed easy dunks and layups. We made a halftime adjustment to tighten up on defense, along with creating better shot selection in the second half. Both things are something that coaches and players can control...and not something that's left up to the basketball gods.

Hope we can get a post-season grudgematch. So what the heck is going on with the Cajuns? No way that team last night would've lost 3 consecutive games in bad blowouts.

Personally....I think we just didn't give the effort on defense during those 3 blowouts. Now thats not saying that we would have won those game but we certainly with better physical effort would not have been blown out. We were scrapping hard last noght and had a great crowd, almost 5,000, that were into the game hard for its entirity. Hope we can continue the effort. This is a very competitive league this year with a bunch of exciting games.

I was really hoping y’all would end the day at 4-7 . . .

Honestly I am effing sick of being a joke in Basketball. 10 years ago App was winning divisions and such. Three absolutely **** hires in a row by Charlie Cobb has ruined the sport and enthusiasm in Boone.

Good Luck GaSt on any hires he does for major sports.

Well Ike Smith definitely out the rest of the year for us. He is applying for a medical redshirt after his back surgery. He only got to play in 8 games this year I think

If he's granted another year that's at least his 14th season at Southern...
