Solid top six all looking to improve next year. Each could have taken the other at different points in the season. Flashes of what could be coming during the season for the rest. Injuries separate the winners from the losers next year.

1. App State (-) - Champs dominated bowl game for their 11th win. Clear #1.
2. Georgia Southern (-) - Ended the year hot winning their last 3 and far exceeded season expectations. I think Troy is the better team, but GS was impressive this year.
3. Troy (+1) - Dominating bowl win after finishing the regular season on a disappointing note. Likely my #1 in next season's preseason power ratings.
4. Arkansas State (-1) - How do you lose that bowl game? Seriously, how?
5. Louisiana (-) - Disappointing end to a very positive season for the Cajuns. They'll be a force next year.

We don’t have a good enough LB corps to handle a mobile QB. It has been our biggest deficiency for the past 2 years. McMillin can really run and he killed us. Thomas from App did the same to us in both games.

This class has helped address the lack of speed and depth on defense. We really are two years away from being a legit threat to win the sun Belt outright.

2 words spring to mind. Blake Anderson. You know, he might be OK if he had an OC that he trusted. If Buster Faulkner isn't fired soon I hope contributors to the program let the AD know how they'll be using their money next year.
