RE: Arizona Bowl has sold 34,000 tickets.
Two of my favorite fun eating places are; El Guero Canelo at 2480 N Oracle Rd, just 3.5 miles northwest from the stadium, for a Sonoran Dog and Lindy's on 4th at 500 N 4th Ave, just go on E 6th St at the south end of the stadium west 1 mile, for the 12 patty (3 pound) OMFG challenge.

The Myrtle Beach Bowl is a rotating tie-in. There will be years in which the Sun Belt doesn't get to send a team there. The conference still qualifies for 5 tie-ins, which means the conference either picks up another full-time tie-in after losing AZ Bowl or another rotating tie-in to compensate for the off-years in Conway.
We can only have 5 bowl tie ins per NCAA rules, so one of a few things could happen.
1. Arizona drops completely, SBC Picks up a spot in an already existing bowl to rotate in during the years we're not tied into Myrtle Beach
2. We rotate Arizona and Myrtle Beach, assuring that the 5th tie in rotates between East and West
3. Arizona Bowl renews, and our other ESPN owned bowl (Camelia) goes to a rotation.

We can only have 5 bowl tie ins at the moment. But in 2020 the math gets reworked, right?
2015 - 4 teams bowl eligible
2016 - 6 teams bowl eligible
2017 - 5 teams bowl eligible
2018 - 6 teams bowl eligible
If 2019 has 6 teams eligible won't that help tip the conference into earning an extra bid?

I don't believe 2019 counts towards the next set of contract negotiations. Mohajir has indicated recently that we'll get 5 and no more.

The Arizona Bowl, not owned by ESPN nor beholden to their scheduling, has sold a huge amount of tickets.
Are you sure they sold them to the game? Maybe its a second half arriving crowd.

Wait. I thought Astate fans couldn't be bothered to leave northeast Arkansas and recommend places to eat?

I actually never lived in northeast Arkansas, although I was close when I lived in southeast Missouri. I'm a native of Tucson who lived nearly 35 years in Arkansas and now living in Colorado. I've also lived in Mississippi and Texas.

So after a little digging I found that the Arizona Bowl's contract runs out (unless renewed) with the Sun Belt after 2019. Same with the Bowl's media deal with CBSSN.
Wonder when announcements will be made to both those deals

Where did you see the media deal with CBSSN expiring after 2019?
That would be great and have them try to get another network other than ESPN. Heck, now that I've cancel Direct TV Now, I wouldn't mind it being on Stadium.

If the MWC push for it and get a good broadcast deal the Sun Belt should push to stay associated, even if it means the champion goes there in certain years.
I just don't see the bowl switching to a TV network that won't let them control game day and kickoff time.

Well, the MWC is pretty forward thinking and don't mind a hybrid TV/web media production.
I know the bowl was on ASN years ago but Stadium is a world different than ASN. It's on more stations across the country, streaming on their own website, and on Pluto TV. I could see a Stadium production on their TV network, Facebook, PlutoTV being the next broadcast contract.

Plus, since the Bowl looks to be the future bowl of the MWC champ, I imagine the bowl committee will take cues from the MWC about such things
