Nah. We prefer to schedule buy games against in state or in region FCS teams.

I'm not sure if sos matters in FCS. They will just need to fight for the FCS playoffs.

Nah, but at least they will be able to compete for national champions. Those future Boise vs NDSU games will be epic.

I'd say yes, but home games only and even then, just every few years.

We can get Fresno State to come to UCF via Greyhound. Pay for the bus tickets, McDonald's, and one nights stay at the red roof inn. Seems like a win -win.

Maybe just with Idaho and New Mexico State, my two favorite MWC teams. They are MWC schools, right?

What is the going rate for body bag games against FCS teams these days anyway (not that we have won any recently)? I'm not sure that any of these teams would interest the ECU fanbase, so maybe the West guys can have at it.

We'll still schedule Air Force when they're FCS.
THey'll just all be at NMCMS. When Naval Academy Prep School plays our JV, it's always in Annapolis, not Newport, so there's precedent.
It will make us sad to step down in quality from our Patriot League all-sports partners to a diminished mwc, but that is an easy 51-49 choice of one loyalty over another...

Boise state got Florida State for a game in Jacksonville and then a return trip to Boise. Would AAC teams entertain neutral site games or is it strictly a 2-1 proposition?

Kick out MWC. Add SBC.

If you drop to FCS the home game option at Boise is out. I think Boise could find a home in the Sunbelt, mac, or c-usa.

This is probably a real concern for them going forwards. With the amount of investment it takes to get and stay competitive sure BSU and and SDSU will be fine but can SJSU and the other bottom feeders really sustain it?

Probably better just to fold up shop for them. FCS if they want to pretend.

The entire MWC should really follow Idaho's lead and drop down to FCS. At least Idaho had the good sense to realize that trying to make it in FBS is futile when you play out west in obscurity.
