College Football: Offers Per School
Found this on twitter. Tennessee send out 440 offers. Alabama sent out 285. Appalachian State sent out 222. Boise State sent out 67. Keep in mind though, that some of these are fake, some of them are misunderstood to be offers, and a lot of them are verbal "offers" / "lies" that coaches tell recruits that don't mean anything.
With that out of the way, the "real" number is likely still pretty high. When you get a recruit that was offered (listed on 247) by a P5 school, or you flip a recruit from one of these schools, you may not have actually "won" any kind of battle. The offer, perhaps, was not a commitable offer. Perhaps, they wanted the kid to play another position. It's also possible the P5 school was trying to talk him into a "shirt" of some kind. Sometimes a P5 may fill up on a certain position, and you end up with a kid that was told something like "look, your offer is still good, but there's four guys ahead of you right now that are going to sign. Maybe you should go somewhere else."
Not trying to be a buzzkill, but it's something to think about.

If you can’t commit to it then they didn’t make you an offer.

Alot of those are not serious offers, but you cant land them if you dont try at all.
