But do you really want to use rivals? There Memphis has the #1 G5 recruiting class at #47. UCF is ranked nationally 50.

Reason #2 why the recruiting rankings for the AAC are BS. IF you look at most it not all of the schools singees the higher rated ones are the ones who committed last and the lower rated ones are the ones who committed early. This isn't the case with the power 5 schools. The sites either don't really evaluate the early commits or at least have a late commit bias. The truth should be the opposite. The early commits should be the strongest because they were the easiest to identify. While these late commits who are better where somehow all not identified until the end here.

UCF just went 16-0 in AAC play in 2 years with a bunch of FL kids that didn't have huge offer lists in 2016/2017 yet are dominating.

This 2019 class has kids signing with HUGE offer sheets. Including Gabriel who UCF directly beat USC and Georgia for. The UCF train will continue rolling with this stable of FL talent coming in.

And the year before this season's 31-30 game there was last year's championship game that went into overtime. Memphis is probably played you tougher than anyone else during your winning streak.

Houston is third in conference in ranking per recruit. Small class due to the grad transfers last year taking five scholarships for 2019. We still have six to give before we top out at 25 for the year. We will probably pick up a few guys for the Feb signing, and the last three will probably be reserved for transfers.

Applewhite has shown he likes to play the transfer market for top-end talent. It is risky in that you lose a scholarship for a one-and-done guy, but you might be able to pick up an impact player, maybe even a high-level player with multiple years of eligibility like Deontay Anderson and Isaiah Chambers. My guess is you see him use up a good handful of those remaining six scholarships on transfers again.
