I didnt expect the gnats to understand. They still put their diplomas in the front windshield so they can park in the handicap zones.
They also miss another major point which is the close relationship that Publix and USF are building. We just got done selling our Basketball arena naming rights to Yuengling and this move was brokered by a multibillionaire investor in tampa that owns the Lightening.
Relationships with power brokers in the area are always a good move.

Cool. Your campus will now be overrun with 85 year old people trying to get their prescriptions filled.

Beer my friend... an American Brewing company that is right across the street from our universities. More than likely will be a major sponsor for our OCS.

We make $3 million a year from that deal. I am just fine with it.. and it never hurts to have a billionaire on your side, especially one that gave us free land worth million to build our downtown medical school.

Just kidding of course. I've heard of Yuengling, but I'm not sure it's sold in Texas. At least I've never seen one. Then again I'm more of a Sour Diesel guy than a beer guy. But when I do, I drink Dos Equis.

I am an "and" guy insted of an "or" guy. I enjoy Diesal but in Florida we only have Medical MJ, so I use Surtera's vape pens. Good stuff. 80-90% THC with really good terpene profiles. If you like Dos Equis, youd like Yuengling. Similar, especially if you like dark beer.

Consider yourself lucky, we don't have medical here in Texas, and I'm betting it'll be quite a while before it happens. But luckily there are plenty of cartridges being imported from the enlightened world. I do like those a lot, especially compared to flowers. Just easier... As long as you have a charged battery.

I know yall have a very limited MJ program there in Texas. Surterra has shops open in Texas. They have disposable vape pens. $25 for a pen and it lasts me about 2 weeks. Ill never go back to flower... vape is so much more convenient, cleaner and less obvious. In florida we are going to have a petition on the 2020 ballot to make recreational legal an it will also allow for home grow.
Hope like crazy it goes through. I can grow like a mad man. I am a hydro king!

RE: USF opens On Campus Publix
Looks like Surterra sells CBD? Best I can tell that's legal now in Texas, or more accurately everyone has figured out that it's not illegal...you can find it just about everywhere. Texas passed a "medical MJ" bill several years ago, took them forever to get it up and running, my understanding is it's only for one form of intractable epilepsy, and then only allowed after demonstrating that multiple other drugs aren't working. As I understand it, Texas has gone through all this trouble to license a couple of growers and a few distributors in Texas, to set up a process to sell CBD oil to a very few patients that meet these very stringent requirements. In the meantime, you can get CBD in any head shop, lots of natural foods places, and some gas stations. Texas has started ultra-safe.
The laws here frustrate my wife and I. We live less than two miles from one of the best cancer hospitals in the world, MD Anderson. It would be a great opportunity to do some research on the benefits of medical marijuana...but it just can't happen right now. And most doctors won't discuss it with their patients out of fear. My wife's been a patient there for the last 6 years with an incurable cancer, goes to at least a hundred appointments a year there. Lots of interaction with doctors. They don't want to hear about it. She has had a sympathetic ear from a psychiatrist or two there; they prefer her to use MJ than pop pills every day.
Not saying it's a miracle drug, or a cure for cancer or anything of the sort. But it helps her with anxiety, helps her sleep, helps her deal with her reality. And it does so without making her a zombie, as opposed to the hospital's only options, which are pharmaceuticals or general instructions to "stay balanced" and "avoid stress". The federal gov't still says there are no legitimate medical uses...even though the Dept of Health and Human Services has held a patent on cannabinoids for neurological disorders for over 15 years. It's criminal that this medicine is criminalized.
Alright, off my soapbox before I start sounding like Woody Harrelson.

USF's Publix and now we're talking MJ? I guess a Pub Sub could cure those munchies. Good correlation.
