This is the best group of 4* to ever come out of Louisville & our last staff wouldn’t recruit any of them. Hopefully coach Satterfield isn”t to late to convince a few to stay home. The more I learn about & hear from coach Satterfield the more excited I get about this hire.

It seems like Jeff Brohm is building the core of his Purdue team from Louisville high school players - it could've been you guys!

Things will change soon, I really like the Satterfield hire for the Cards.

Absolutely. Its been reported that Purdues Rondale Moore of Louisville Trinity HS wanted to come to UofL but Galloway & Bobby weren’t interested.

Edit: Galloway was also the coach involved in “Wakey Leaks”.

UL down to four commits per Reddit for 2019. I expect 2-3 of the best recruits to Appy St to come along. Dino did the same thing three years ago. If I were Card fans: temper your expectations and hope to get a couple 3rd tier bowl games the next two seasons.

I assume he is going to hit the JUCO ranks for 3-5 guys too.

RE: Cards New Football Coach
The class has dropped in the last day or two from around 8 guys solely because Satterfield has decided his system isn't a good fit for some of the remaining guys, so he's let kids know now rather than sign an LOI and either sit or have to transfer out. I expect only a few signings on the early day and a near full class in Feb. When I say full class, it will still be a smaller number, as a saving grace is we were a young team and this was always going to be the smallest class (less than 15) in years.

It is a small class with only 12 scholarships available. Is he making room for his recruits? Louisville area 4* UK commit Weaver was reportedly on UofL campus this past weekend. Will the new assistants bring in some new recruits as well?

Coach Satterfield gets a couple surprises!

Aidan Robbins, Louisville: Dupont Manual (Louisville, KY) 6-3 / 220 247 3*- Robbins, a running back from Manual, created some theatrics when he entertained Kentucky late and took a visit to BYU. In the end, he stuck by his commitment made this summer to Louisville and was the first in Satterfield's new class of recruits to make it official. Robbins will have a ceremony at 3:15 p.m. at Manual and we'll be there for that. In the meantime, catch up on some reading about the local guy putting down his roots in the city that raised him.

Zach Williamson, Louisville: Spring Valley (Huntington, WV)
6-6 / 275 247 3*- A offensive tackle from Huntington, West Virginia and Spring Valley High School, Williamson is expected to enroll early. He'll get a quick indoctrination into Satterfield's offense and gets to partner with new offensive line coach Dwayne Ledford. Ledford recruited Williamson to NC State before joining Louisville's staff.

Evan Conley, Louisville: Kell (Marietta, GA) 6-1 / 205 247 3*- Satterfield hasn't been twiddling his thumbs since signing on as Louisville's new head coach. He's having to pull together a class in a hurry as he looks to improve a team that had few bright spots last season. Among his stated targets was the quarterback position, and he addressed that with the signing of Evan Conley from Kell High School in Marietta, Georgia. Conley was committed to Appalachian State, but Satterfield, obviously believing Conley can compete at the ACC level, is bringing him along to Louisville. Conley was the second-highest rated recruit in Appalachian State's class.

Dorian Jones, Louisville: American Heritage (Fort Lauderdale, FL)
6-0 / 219 247 3*- He was expected to sign with Indiana, but the linebacker out of American Heritage High School in Plantation, Florida flipped Wednesday afternoon to Louisville. A 6-0, 219 pound inside linebacker, 247Sports.com rated Jones a three-star recruit.

Hard Commit:

Ty Murray OG
Carrollton (Carrollton, GA)
6-4 / 300 247 3*
