That's the one thing Memphis does have.

You mean Memphis has no size.

did we watch the second same half.....this was a team that accepted defeated with 9mins left

turn on the Tulsa game..they are down 11 with a min to play and playing like they have a chance to win

So a W in Double Overtime last game doesn't count as a team with heart.

houston will play okstate and lsu too....our starting bigs are 6'7 and 6'5

This is about the umpteenth time I have heard the "no size" excuse. Weakest argument of all time. Come up with something better

For some reason we had a 6’4” guard on their 7 footer. Any which way, that was an ugly game. Hard to score when you can’t shoot and they have a giant or 2 in the paint protecting the rim.

okstates main big is 6'7, the second is 6'8

they have a true freshmen Yor Anei who is 6'10 who played alot in the secondd half but you were down big before his minutes were logged

isiah maurice is taller than both..parks was taller than everyone but than the freshmen

Maurice played poorly and Parks barely played. Kyvon chronically gets stopped at the rim (seems to get bodied up easily). We need to run some plays for Parks though. Not sure if he’s still injured or what’s going on there. Several of their guards had Lomax and Harris by at least 6 inches.

I heard there was a 7'0 relief valve on the way that will transform what happens in the paint.

1) its yale
2) its not hard to play with effort when a game is extremely close and you were favored to win

heart- looking at impossible odds and still fighting...

i was watchign the tulsa and memphis game simultaneously..tulsa could have quit so many time, but they didnt

nevada had a breakaway steal with 40 secs left up 11, a tulsa player ran with full effort'/speed to block him from behind...they were trying till the very end

memphis at the end wasnt trying, i saw 2 breakaway steals with lots of time left where it was obvious the Memphis players didn't care if they scored..the game was over they just wanted to put up shots

RE: 11/22 (Turkey Day) AAC Basketball Games
I’m disappointed we lost but we played our tails off. If Tulsa could have hit a few from deep we would have been right there at the end. I think the guys learned a lot today. Taplin’s injury worries me but if it’s not serious we’ll be a load to handle come conference time. Really happy to get 10 points from Falokun, he keeps progressing and that will really bolster one of our weak spots from last year which was inside depth. We still need to stop sagging off shooters.

Think OSU built a new indoor practice facility with all those blocks? They blocked us out like they're on a construction project.

The Tigers were scalped, no doubt. I’d rather know now the issues rather than later.

#SIZE MATTERS#

What are you talking about? Are you too dense to comprehend that basic fundamental concept when it comes to athletics?

What are you talking about? I was talking about the comment you made that my basketball team has no heart. Hell with you. You are seriously the dumbest poster on the internet.

Memphis has no coaching?

Too soon to know, but Penny clearly has a huge learning curve ahead of him. Especially on the defensive end.

Memphis fan expecting an NCAA tournament bid or a conference contender this year was getting just a bit ahead of himself.

Reality has always been NIT this season.

I think more WSU fans wanted to rip Penny for not making the NCAA this season than Tiger fans expected him to attain it. At least on this board. They're bloodthirsty.

What are you talking about? I was talking about the comment you made that my basketball team has no heart. Hell with you. You are seriously the dumbest poster on the internet.

My point was you are calling me dumb, yet every argument we have I tend to always be right. you insult me nonstop (like the QB debate) and when reality hit and I'm correct you are nowhere to be seen

Or remember that time you said Memphis fans wouldn't be upset if they didn't make the NIT last year .. and the reality is hundreds of Memphis fans were furious for Memphis just missing the NIT

Or that time you said penny expectations weren't to make the tournament year 1, when I said he was setting the bar too high and then penny himself a few weeks later said his expectations were the tournament year 1 .. (and you coincidentally change your tone that it's okay for him to have confidence )

You are literally never correct... NEVER... NEVERRRRRR!!! You constantly attack me for your wrong opinions

And yes Memphis had no heart in this game.. this game is on ESPN replay for free, Re-watch the last 9 game minutes and tell me if Memphis was actually playing like the intended to win or were fighting back...the effort and hustle was turned numerous notches down at one point..the were letting defender run by them.. often time they could have put a hand up in a 3 but simply just watched the defender shoot....

Tulsa had an identical deficit at one point, but there was heart with them, after every point, the bench was screaming, players were running back on defense.. every defensive stop you saw the defender clapping hard...they gave nothing easy

Again the film is readily available for you to rewatch for both

Both of you were both down 17 with 9mins left and only 1 of you was playing like you legitimately thought they could come back .. and it wasn't the team playing the #6 team in the nation
