7. USF - Poor Charlie
8. SMU - Sonny Dykes has done well
9.Tulane- Improving but still bad
10. ECU - need to make major changes
12. Navy - down year
12. Tulsa - Inexplicable

I hate make excuses

Your numbering system is a little different. Also, did UCONN leave to join the Big East?

RE: Rank the AAC after week 12
1. UCF
On pace to win their 4th championship in just the 6th year of the AAC.

2. Temple
Best AAC record outside of UCF; lost to UCF by 12.

3. Cincinnati
Only losses to UCF by 25 and Temple by 7.

4. Houston
One win away from what is sure to be another UCF-Houston classic.

5. Memphis
The Tigers can still win the West Division (8-4), win the championship (9-4), and win their bowl game (10-4). Impressive after a 1-3 start to conference play.

6. SMU
The Mustangs opened the season with three consecutive blowout losses. Since then, Sonny Dykes has the team at 5-3, looking at a bowl game, and barely missing out on a division title. This is a team to watch in 2019.

7. Tulane
After sitting at 2-5 seven games in, the Wave is one win away from a bowl game. Impressive fight this team has shown.

8. S. Florida
I said after the UConn game that if the bulls kept playing the way they were playing that they would lose their final 5 games of the year. Since my comment, they are 0-4. Yikes!

9. Navy
Rooting for the Mids to come back strong next year.

10. ECU
Evenly matched with Tulsa. Ranked above by virtue of winning their last game.

11. Tulsa
Evenly matched with ECU. Ranked below by virtue of 2-game losing streak.

12. UConn
Has yet to win an AAC game.
