1) What do you think should be done, or should have been done, to Hillary for her transgressions?
Mrs Clinton's email system existed in a grey area of the law - and one that has been changed several times since she left office.
When she became secretary of state, the controlling interpretation of the 1950 Federal Records Act was that officials using personal email accounts must ensure that official correspondence is turned over to the government. Ten months after she took office, a new regulation allowed the use of private emails only if federal records were "preserved in the appropriate agency recordkeeping system".
Mrs Clinton maintains that this requirement was satisfied because most of her emails from her personal account went to, or were forwarded to, people with government accounts, so they were automatically archived. Any other emails were turned over to State Department officials when they issued a request to her - and several of her predecessors - in October 2014.
She said it is the responsibility of the government employee "to determine what's personal and what's work-related" and that she's gone "above and beyond" what she was asked to do.
In November 2014 President Barack Obama signed the Presidential and Federal Records Act Amendments, which require government officials to forward any official correspondence to the government within 20 days. Even under this new law, however, the penalties are only administrative, not criminal.

2) What do you think should be done to Ivanka for hers? What if it is determined that she did in fact transmit classified information?
I have ALWAYS been under the impression outlined above. I always like to show you the hypocrisy of the wingnuts. If you bitched a fit about HILAREEE"s emails why aren't you now? We all know the answer.
3) If those two are the same, why? If they are different, why?
They aren't different. You guy's are hypocrits.
So "us guys" saying Ivanka's use of email should be investigated and dealt with appropriately are hypocrites?
Wow. You learn something new every day.

Goodness gracious man. Talk about missing the boat. You can't even find the water.
What you have just accomplished with your answer to #1 above is akin to the policeman concentrating on the fact that the guy might have jaywalked to get across the street to the bank while forgetting to mention that he robbed the bank while he was in there. HILAREEE (as you like to call her) had CLASSIFIED data up to and including TOP SECRET on her non-government PRIVATE SERVER. That is the big crime she committed, not the jaywalking like one that you want us all to be diverted towards. Nice try!!!
You answer to question #3 is therefore 100% incorrect. They are (at least based upon all information that has currently come out) not even remotely similar unless and until such time that it has been shown that Ivanka also had Classified data (that was designated to be Classified at the time) on her private server.

Why?
The complaints about Hillary are that she committed multiple felonies in violation of our national security laws, by placing classified information into an unsecure environment. I've seen no indication that Ivanka did that. If you have evidence that she did, please share.
Using personal emails for government business is a slap on the wrist offence. Hazarding classified information repeatedly is a 20 to 40 in Leavenworth offense.
