It looks like this is going to be the split.

Why would mike work with all of G5 this is about AAC

I am scared to say, but his tweets have gained traction on the sec board.

Check Twitter mhver3 please don’t hate me but I follow everyone I can in relation to college realignment. I just want what’s best for ecu and our schools. I love AAC, I believe we are p6 unconditionally, but mike is ours not G5’s.

With Amazon bidding on the 22 sports networks, maybe Mike has this card to play all along, will use it to our advantage.

UCF has always been the football program of extremes...They are either the worst or the best. Extreme highs with extreme lows.

Uh, what? We've had 2 extreme lows in 2004 and 2015. 2004 was explainable given GOL was cramming his way of playing down their throats. 2015 was just an utter debacle in every possible way.

They are, however, clear outliers.

2005 - 8 wins and played for CUSA title.
2007- 10 wins and won CUSA
2009- 9 wins
2010- 11 wins and won CUSA
2012- 9 wins, played for CUSA title
2013- 12 wins, won AAC, won Fiesta Bowl
2014- 9 wins, won AAC
2016- 6 wins
2017- 12 wins, won AAC, won Peach Bowl
2018- 10 wins and counting

There were some mediocre to bad years in there but nothing remotely close to the 0'fer seasons. O'Leary had too many 4-6 win seasons for sure though.

He’s not wrong. During GOL we’d have a good year followed by a bad year so often it was a running joke.

GOL held us back. Look at what UCF has done since he left. He should have been fired after the Plancher death or probation, the program would be much farther along.

So what? He is part of your past. For better or worse, you can't just say "well that doesn't count because of reasons x,y,and z." It's just like when people used to say "well, the only reason Memphis is good is because they got DeAngelo" ...... AND? So what? He was part of our team. For better or worse. We got him, and whomever is complaining about it at any particular time didn't.

Hate to be a Yogi Berra, but you ARE the sum total of your history up to this point.

That was a pretty good run...3 conf titles plus another Divisional Title and a BCS Bowl Win vs #6 Baylor.

Hope this 2017-2018 run continues too.
