Power Rankings can be based on whatever you want. The fact of the matter is that I could put Texas State at number 4 based on this weeks performance. Future prognostications as well as previous results play a factor in the Power Rankings of each team.

So yes, I can base it, in part, on expected future performance.

Overall, a pretty sharp performance by App. Zac Thomas looks like he is fully recovered, the defense adjusted after the opening drive and we should get to see a great game on Saturday in Boone.

Haven't gone back and watched any of the Troy/TX State game, not sure what happened there. Less than 300 yards of offense, six forced turnovers and no touchdowns? Seems odd, although the outcome meant little to Troy in the big picture. Either way, don't expect a similar offensive performance next week.

Out West, I though ULM may have given Ark State a stiffer challenge but the Red Wolves are playing really well. Have them as my highest rated team in the division but it may not matter if ULM doesn't bounce back.

Louisiana may have some extra juice since they control their destiny, not sure what to expect in that game. Should be a really fun final weekend in the Sun Belt.

Yes the only opinion that matters in your own by whatever metrics you choose. So you’re all wrong and I’ll just look at the standings after next weekend.

1. App St: overall easily the best team when the QB is healthy.
2. Troy: should have lost this weekend but found a way to win. Made up of the walking wounded.
3. Louisiana: the only team in the west who controls our own destiny.
4. stAte: has taken care of business after getting BEAT by the Cajuns.
5. ULM: they are who we thought they were.
6. GaSo: don’t let their record fool you.
7. Coastal Carolina: up and down season for the Chants.
8. Texas St: just can’t figure out how to win games their not suppose to win.
9. South AL: can’t quite figure y’all out. Have the players to win, but just don’t win.
10. GaSt: y’all have just sucked the past 6 weeks.
