2019 Class SBC Men's Basketball National Signing Period
So....the basketball national signing period began few days ago...surprised that no one started this thread for SBC yet.

I've been quietly keeping tabs on the 247 website and I see some very interesting recruits for our league. Louisiana may steal the #1 SG in its state and USA recruited 2 solid prospects. App looks to have a potentially strong class as well. Can't find info on rest of your teams...maybe insiders can fill us in?

For us, we will be signing 2 now, and 2-3 more in the Spring (depends whether Simonds will stay or leave for the NBA.)
The 2 prospects who have committed are Jalen Windham and Cheickna Sissoko.
Windham (6'5, 180lbs, 0.85 SG) - a shooting guard from Indiana. signed today. He does have a nice touch on his 3s (nice high arc, clean form, good height on his jumps.) Can penetrate to draw fouls. Good hustle on both sides. Nice height. All of our guards will be very tall. He wont find playing time anytime soon because our roster is loaded with guards, but an intriguing prospect nonetheless. This kid looks like a natural shooter. A potential replacement for Mitchell down the road.
Sissoko (6'10, 220lbs, 0.79 PF) - power forward from Florida. There is a youtube video of him playing at Emory's court. Very nice frame for a front court player. A natural strong presence in rebounding and shot blocking. As I understand it, he only started playing basketball within last 2 years. He will probably need to develop for few years to find significant minutes at GSU, but I could see him becoming a defensive specialist whenever we need that clutch rebounds and defensive hustle.

We signed one so far in the early period.
6-5 SG Drew Tennial from Edmond, OK. Unrated on 247. 2-stars on verbal commits.
Only other D1 offer from ACU.
