Penny has been confident telling boosters about possible recruits since before he was hired. We'll see. And Zagoria is not some anonymous message board dude.

Plus, we didn't "miss" on 2 recruits this week. Ramsey was always headed to TX Tech, and Ellis to Duke, and more than we would "miss" if Hurt goes elsewhere. We simply got their attention for awhile.

But we already have taken Jeffries from Kentucky, and likely will get Wiseman.

Nothing to worry about. Ramsey and Ellis were just cherry on top recruits. We are still working for our main guys

We have a similar situation going on with Top 30 recruit Akok Akok. A known UCONN poster with connections said a booster told him it was a done deal. This was a few weeks ago, and we're still waiting on an official announcement. It's pretty common practice for a recruit to commit to a coaching staff, but wanna announce on their own terms. I'll start to worry if our guy doesn't commit by the end of the early signing period.
