Thank god.

A sport where every team has an actual chance to win a national championship.

RE: It's basketball season!!!
what is interesting about things is the recruiting finally starting to improve. AAC with right now 4 top 50 classes in Memphis, UConn, Wichita, and Houston..... If recruiting picks up- that's just going to make things that much better. Cincy isn't going anywhere. It'll be interesting to see if Temple can get back......

On the other hand, it's the only sport where a team can go winless in the regular season and still win the national championship.

I'm currently stretching so I don't pull a muscle when we get back to grappling with the wheat people.

Also eagerly awaiting the debut of the greatest coach ever in the history of college basketball.

Hopefully once we’re past this coach in waiting farewell tour year.

And on the other hand, other hand, in another sport you can have a team go undefeated through 20 months and not play for one.

It'll be interesting if UCF can keep it up in basketball after this class leaves.

I don’t know if it’s a good sign or not that I’m thrilled football is almost over and basketball is here.

College basketball is my favorite sport and the anticipation of the start is like Christmas Day when I was a child.

In any given year we need 6 programs in the discussion for a top25 (football) or postseason birth (basketball). With 3/4 realistically there.

We can afford 6 mediocre to bad programs with 6 power to good programs.

The real meaning behind power6

I really don't think you can afford 6. Like 3-4 are fine. You have 3-4 teams- and top teams might only have to play them in 4-5 games in the season, helping their SOS.

honestly, I think the success of this season for Memphis will come down to if Lance Thomas gets his waiver to play this year...he transferred to Memphis from Louisville where he went through 3 HC's in one season.
