SBC VFW Roll Call.
As Veterans Day approaches many schools are having their own "hero" days. I just wanted to thank any of the fans or players that happen to post or just read these boards who served in the military, especially those that served in combat.

Without a google search, who all has military members (rotc reserve etc) playing for their athletics programs?

Thank you. 04-rock04-rock04-rock04-cheers04-cheers

RE: SBC VFW Roll Call.
The main reason I made this post so early was due to the fact a comedian on SNL made an ignorant joke about a veteran running for political office. Now I have three other reasons to bump the thread.

1) It is technically Veterans Day.
2) Dan Crenshaw was on SNL and it was the closest I have ever been to laughing at post-Will Ferrell SNL.
3) I am a combat-disabled veteran that sometimes struggles to be proud of my service.... and I ******* mean it when I say thank you.

I was a walk-on in ‘99-‘00 for the Cajuns and an All SBC performer in T&F for the Cajuns. Deployed in ‘04-05 as an infantry guy and deployed again this past year as a UH60 pilot.

It was cool getting to do the flyover for the Cajuns game this weekend.

Excellent. I was an electronic warfare/electronic countermeasures tech sgt on C-130s. The defensive systems are similar to any relatively slow moving military aircraft. It's cool you were able to take part in a flyover.
