Not a big fan of the name, but Louisiana comes in at 11 and Georgia State at 12.

App comes in next in the receiving votes (44th place), ahead of UTA (45) and Georgia Souttern (48).

How in the holy heck is UTA even on this thing. 12 newcomers, almost all JUCOs, means no one has a clue about the Mavs.

They’re sleeping on ULM

I get a “mid major” poll in football(G5), but really makes no sense in basketball. After all, we get a seat at the table in that sport, no reason to look at us as difffernt from the “big boys”.

That voting panel is a joke. No wonder this poll sucks.

Watched ULM beat DII Henderson State last night 90-62. This team is much quicker and more athletic than last year's team. Most everyone can and will penetrate. I don't think you will see scoring droughts like ULM has had in the past couple of years. ULM's issue is size. Alabakis took a contract to play Aussie Rules Football back home and our recruit with size had a season ending injury. So, ULM will be small. Going to see 4-5 guards all season long. Difference will be that last year, ULM really relied on 3-4 players to do the bulk of the scoring, with only a couple of players that could drive and penetrate. This year it looks as if there are a few extra that can come in and put up double figures and there are several players that can drive.

This should be a fun team to watch and I look for ULM to run a lot. Don't like not having some size but there are a lot of scoring threats.

The fact that COOSA is not it this means it should be ignored; totally flawed
