Wednesday's Quarterfinals:

#5 South Alabama 3 #4 Appalachian State 0 Final 10am
#8 Troy vs #1 Texas State 1:00pm
#7 Arkansas State vs #2 Little Rock 4:00pm
#6 Georgia State vs #3 Coastal Carolina 7:00pm

Semifinals are Friday and the Championship match is Sunday.

We had a rough stretch the first two weeks of September, but since we have played fairly consistently. Hoping we can make some noise in the tourney, winning game one was a start.

I believe that is the 3rd or 4th straight year we've lost on penalties in the conference tournament. Just can't break the curse. 2nd year in a row Little Rock has beaten us on PK's.

Well, this is interesting.

Little Rock will play at Arkansas in the first round of the NCAA Tournament. After they win (And the Pigs refuse to play them ever again in any sport) they'll likely face #4 Texas.

Would have been a lot funnier had the two teams not agreed to play each other, but this will officially be the first game between the pigs and another Arkansas school in any sport since they lost to AState in the WNIT in 2005. (We might have flown the state flag upside down that day)
