I think Withers was always gonna get another year, regardless of this season's results (NCAA violations being the exception. We hate those things, because they cause additional work for the AD, and well... He's just too darn busy doing.... Something, I'm sure of it).

However, I said I was expecting 4-5 wins. If he can win another one of the last three, I'll stop my whining about getting a new coach for a year.

But that line... MAN, I don't see how we are able to compete with anyone with that line.

They noted something during the broadcast that I found really interesting...

We are +3 on the season in turnovers. I didn't expect that. But then again, we were 2-6 coming in, so winning the turnovers didn't make us big winners earlier in the season.

Even worse is that it's not one thing that could have fixed it...

- If we had a coach who was better at game management, we could be 7-2.
- If we had a little stronger line, we could be 7-2.
- If we had a better kicker, we could be 7-2.


Thinking in that regard, it makes me really proud of how these guys have played in spite of quite a few issues. So, from me, an even bigger thumbs up to players than I normally give.
