What do you mean "was"? Millions of people correctly teach their children manners, including addressing adults by the proper terms of "ma'am" and "sir." And they are not going to stop just because a few disordered people want to act out their issues on the rest of society. The people who will have to choose to "adapt" are the ones acting out on their disorders, not the rest of normal society. It's called abnormal for a reason.
