AState at Louisiana thread
May God have mercy on our souls!

These two teams still don't like each other, and this game probably decides the West Champ. AState sort of turned the Cajuns to a giant pile of mush last season in Jonesboro, and series tradition indicates it is the Cajuns turn to do that to the Red Wolves.

Cajuns are playing better, and we're still...bad.

The Belt's least talked about rivalry plays another chapter.

The game that decides how the west is won! might be a few of these 03-nutkick going on and a few 05-mafia , oh and one of 04-chairshot . ......then the loser does 01-ncaabbs........ 03-lmfao its still early.

Don’t forget we are in 1st place in the West and will have something to say about that! Gonna be a fun finish. I will say the Cajuns are progressing nicely and of course the Red Woofs have our number.

Hansen looked like an all-american against us last year. It was a medicine game after the controversy the season before (and our guys showing their asses after the game.)

You'll find a different bunch of Cajuns this time around. Napier has them playing the right way.

But I don't know that we're good enough yet. I'm just hoping the home field thing continues.

I have a feeling the home team wins as always. You folks have shown steady improvement while we seem to regress. It will be close but you win by 7.

Gonna be a dogfight for sure. I'm praying we win. I want another chance to tear that Apphouse down.

considering Red Wolves have only won in lafayette twice since 1992 (and me being a trends guy) definitely liking the odds for the road team

We'll get another shot at them in 2020. Maybe both teams will have new coaches by then.

The problem is that you guys still have to play Southern. Compared to both of the others schedules it makes life extremely difficult. You probably only get the West by winning out.

Cajuns have a game with Troy left, but that's extremely winnable given Troy's offensive issues.

I think we have a good shot at Southern. We are playing well against the run and the option. Our whole season rides on which Evans we get, the one who was rated the highest in the G5 against Coastal, or the one who had a horrid game against Texas St. He did at least run for 90 yards. The West is wide open Chief and it isn’t just between StAte and ULL. With that said my money is not on us, but I am hopeful we get to a bowl.

I hope the Cajuns do not have a let down after the emotional game in Boone and I hope to see continued improvement. I am not sure that will be enough because the Cajuns are still clearly a work in progress. I hope it is a good game and it is nice it be excited about Cajun football again.

No prediction, but I look forward to the game.

Hansen just obliterated the Cajuns last year. Keeping him (somewhat) in check will be the biggest key.

And us keeping the Cajun running game under control is going to be a huge problem. I'm not sure if our receivers are up for the challenge. I don't know what's happened to this much vaunted crew. Some injuries but even that doesn't explain the number of drops we've seen this season.

Over/under on Unsportsmanlike penalties? Heck we had 6 last game against GSU!

Im sure the Cajuns will be yapping and not so sure our team can restrain themselves.

If the Cajun secondary plays as well this week as they did against the Apps they should be in a really good position to win. First time our passing game has been shut down all year.
