2017 AAC #6. Closer to #5 than to #7-10. Closer to #1 than to #9-10.
2016 AAC #6. Closer to #5 than to #8-10. Gap from #6-7 58% of the gap from #5-6.
2015 AAC #6. Closer to #5 than to #7-10.
2014 AAC was #8. But from the #8 slot, closer to #6 than any G4 has been to us at #6 since then.

No power 5 would have near an 8-8 record vs the G5. It's time to bury the p6 nonsense. The Aac is the top to bottom best non power conference. Though the mwc was better this year, most years it's you guys. UCF is awesome...a different level. The next 2-3 teams in your league are of the same quality of Fresno, Boise, Utah state, app state, and would finish mid to upper echelon in most p5 conferences. Be proud of what you guys have and the teams like UCF who are legit top 10. But calculating your records vs peer g5 conferences...especially when many of the best g5 teams didn't play any aac teams...is dumb. What is your leagues p5 record? That would be equally as indicative of where you stand.
