Exclamation Sports Illustrated: Troy, the Power 5 Giant-Killer
Pretty cool story that Sports Illustrated did behind the scenes with the Troy staff before and during their trip to Nebraska. It's featured on the front of the SI.com website, and will be a feature-story in the next issue of Sports Illustrated on September 24.

I suppose Boise State should get a front page story for slaying the P5 slayer?

Why the hell cant we just be happy for a conference mate that takes down a major P5 program?

When we beat Kansas in a couple years, I’ll be annoyed as hell when you people come out of the woodwork talking about how Kansas sucks.

How about “Congrats on the P5 win, conference mates!”

If you think their win is weak then wait for your team to prove it on the field when you play troy this year. Geez.

I thought last year's win against LSU was much more impressive. I thought NT's win over Arkansas was the more impressive win last weekend. JMO

p.s. NT win was a lot less impressive after 1-3 Colorado state beat arkansas the week before. . JMO

We almost beat a number of teams, some which by all rights we should have and didn't. That's why I started by saying it was a great win. I know Arkansas isn't great this year, but they are in the SEC which I think is a much better conference than the B10 overall. Both are I think mid-level in their conferences. I was just more impressed with LSU as I think Tiger stadium is a much tougher place to play and maintain your composure. Again, JMO.

I suppose Boise State should get a front page story for slaying the P5 slayer?

They've already had their front page story over a decade ago.

Maybe one day you guys will get one.

Uncalled for by Eric here, but not sure if you're serious with the bolded?

Anytime a conference mate creates a thread pointing to some national noise expect some ribbing. Comes with the territory.

Most LSU fans were gone by halftime, unlike Nebraska fans - 90,000 fans stayed until the end.

Exactly, beating LSU & Nebraska in consecutive years, that's the real achievement.

Trying to post the ESPN interview highlighting Matt Brieda the number one RB in the NFL at the moment but it keeps linking some sketchy crap. Anyway that’s good and the more we make some noise the more ESPN gives air time.

Don’t want App fans to think I’m hating on you. App is my 2nd favorite program next to Troy.
