UNLV at AState Discussion.
Another chance at a win over one of the better G5 leagues. Rebels have not been good of late, and have been a mixed bag this year. They played USC well for a half. Obliterated a god awful UTEP team, and then somehow really struggled to put away Prarie View A&M.

This will be the first of back to back opponents on our docket that has fewer yards passing on the season than we generally average per game. They have a little over 300 yards passing all season if I read this right. Over 70 percent of their offense is predicated on running the ball.

Probably the closest we can get to preparing for GS or Coastal without going ham and scheduling a true triple option team...

AState is an 8 point favorite.

It’ll be an interesting matchup as I don’t know if you can really make anything of UNLV’s team based on who they’ve played. One semi-tough P5 opponent and two terrible teams make it hard to evaluate them.

Based on the highlights I watched of their game with PVAM, their offense revolves totally around the QB. If you stop him they are done.

stAte has possibly finally turned the corner against OOC competition. I look for them to roll UNLV.

I honestly think UNLV is better than Tulsa, but at least Ark State looks like they're in mid-season form and it's in Jonesboro. When you have a running team and a passing team together you usually have plenty of points.

42-35 Red Wolves.

Better whoop UNLV...

No excuse not to when you have the best QB in the league, and possibly of all-time... Justice Hansen.

Atsate should win this one pretty easy IMO.

I don't disagree with you, but Prairie View is hardly a "terrible" team. They're likely better than UTEP, to be honest. They took Rice to the wire and have had something like 5 straight winning seasons in the SWAC.

That being said, UNLV did allow their QB to hang 200 on them. I looking forward to seeing what Hanson and company can do.
