RE: Week 4 Sunbelt Projections
Yeah, how could anyone think that they were biased towards USA when they decide to review a third down play AFTER the 4th down play was already completed?

That sort of talk is just silly!

Yes, that was a stupid call (also could have been ruled targeting, but I’ll go with your narrative). The roughing the passer call early that extended a drive and lead to points was a terrible call, as was the “late” hit out of bounds, as was the 2 blatantly missed PI calls (one while your guy literally tackled our receiver around the legs).

These refs were incompetent, not biased.

Make no mistake, when I speak to the bias of the refs that game, I am neither saying they weren't incompetent (I don't think ANYONE would be foolish enough to say that), nor that they were the cause for us losing that game. We lost that game on our own (or, to look at it from your perspective, you won that game on your own... Neither is incorrect).

But they were definitely pro USA.

If they were pro USA, they had an odd way of showing it.

The larger question: Why does any D-1 Conference have to suffer officiating by a crew of refs not even qualified to call a kids Pop Warner Football game?

There's no way our (WMU) defense is holding anyone to 10 points, especially a team with a QB that can make things happen with his feet.

(never mind our shutout of terrible Delaware State last week)

RE: Week 4 Sunbelt Projections
Western Michigan -7 at Georgia State GSU wins straight out.
Banking on GSU trending enough to pass WMU's post Fleck race to the bottom.
Any injuries Panthers?

Gardner-Webb at App State -35 App to cover by half.

UNLV at Arkansas State -10 ArkSt but I would not touch the spread its an OOC game!

Coastal -7 at Louisiana UL Blow out win and blow out loss by UL have no clue about this team. CCU wins and covers with the extra game experience.

Troy -7 at ULM I dont bet but if I did Troy

Texas State -3 at UTSA nope...in state games of pretty equal teams are not predictable to much emotion but I think TXST showed signs of life a little. UTSA played THREE P5's in a row they probably are either ready or beat to hell.

South at Memphis -7 Memphis

Overall UNLV is not very good but I did notice they have a top 3 rushing offence to the tune of 345 yards a game so I think I'll watch this game just to see how well stAte handles the run.

A lot more read option than you guys do, but pretty similar offenses. They probably pass better, but its still not particularly great.

I'll be gobsmacked if UNLV comes anywhere close to the betting line. I watched the replay against Prairie View and can't see how they don't get embarrassed playing in Jonesboro. ASU should win without much trouble, unless we become our own problem with multiple turnovers and stupid penalties......and yes that is possible, but highly unlikely.

We have rain coming. It could be a factor in this game.

I think the refs were bad on both sides. It just still really stings how we blew that game. We really needed that boost. I dont know if we can beat UTSA but please God, dont let us get blown out again.

If the first half TXST team shows up, you guys can win this game. If the 2nd half TXST teams shows up....well..there’s always next year.

Agree the refs were terrible at everything that day. I’m surprised they remembers to bring a coin for the coin toss.
