These videos aren't really meant for external audiences. He does them for fun and the enjoyment of fans and people that know him - that is all. I would not expect anybody outside of our fanbase to be entertained by them, I wouldn't expect people WITHIN our fanbase who don't know who he is to be entertained by them either.

I can’t tell if the guy is being serious or not.

The guy that makes those videos used to own a local Barbecue place in Statesboro called Vandys (give it a try if you come to town ). Back in the day he used to have these corny but loveable commercials on the radio during game weeks. I was a kid then but remember them well. I sort of like the videos but it's much more a nostalgia thing and I get why people who weren't fans around that time don't care for them.

In fact, Alan probably isn't tickled with these videos showing up outside GS internet territory.

Y’all get so pressed because a fan of another school enjoys making videos about his football team every week. I just don’t understand why is bothers y’all so much.

I first watched one of his video before GSU visited Statesboro in 2015. I initially thought, "aw this nice looking grandpa made a YouTube video." Then he wasn't so nice. "We hate you, git outta here" LOL that wasn't expected.

Edit: didn't mean it to sound like fighting words if any of you know him personally.

Basically, it's something that taps purely into nostalgia for folks who were around in the Paul Johnson days that is amateurish in writing and in production quality.

Kind of like Star Wars: The Force Awakens, except Alan doesn't pretend like he's making a masterpiece of cinema for general audiences and he also can't make billions off of it.

He put the thing on YouTube, the one social media channel where it is incredibly easy to run across random videos. I'm not sure how he wouldn't expect these things to end up everywhere. My wild guess is that a bunch of Clemson fans have probably seen it too...

I like them myself. He's a fan that loves his team and his school. Nothing wrong with that.

Unless you are really really really serious about football there will a thousand puppies killed in outer Sombrero. Or maybe we oughta let a guy have some fun. I applaud.
