UConn should've consulted UMD before rehiring Randy Edsall. I would've said UConn should hire either Greg Schiano or Al Golden if it wanted better quality recruits from the mid-Atlantic region.

I mean this not as an insult but just an honest comment - SCST had a way, way better defense than UConn. Their guys were faster and bigger in the secondary (although they got totally shoved around on the run game).

That's like 1,500 yards given up in 2 games by UConn defense to start the season. Yikes.

Our whole defense is primarily underclassmen who apparently have never played organized football before. 03-banghead
