Those numbers are only for original cable and don't include CBS, FOX, NBC, or ABC, so I'm assuming it will be much lower on the list when those come out. Hell, we were the lowest rated CFB game on ESPN on Saturday and it was in the Primetime slot...not great.

I'm guessing opposing Michigan and Notre Dame did not help. That game drew over 7M viewers.

Plus Alabama v Louisville that started at 8 PM. That's over 11.5 million college football viewers between those two games.

Yeah, I was watching in a bar by the airport in Bloomington, Illinois. Had to watch on one small screen in the corner. I think I found the local Notre Dame fan club - only me, one loud obnoxious Michigan guy, a Memphis fan, and a hundred Irish fans.

It won’t look so good in a few weeks, UCLA is brutally lousy this year and will probably finish last in their division. For now though it looks good,

The jury is still out on UCLA but any road win is good and in particular when it's on a P5 field not located in Lawrence, Kansas.

RE: TV Ratings- Cincinnati at UCLA
I’m encouraged that we beat UNC/Cal despite the fact that game was on network TV and UC was up against better games.

That’s a pretty good showing all things considered. I’m sure Chip Kelly helped, but playing a good close game on the road should give UC and the conference good visibility.

At least now we know how many people fell asleep with FOX tuned on the TV on Saturday.

Good Lord.

That game went head to head against the #1 game of the weekend (Mich/Notre Dame) and the #4 game of the weekend (Louisville/Bama). Still drew over a million viewers vs EXTREMELY stiff competition. In fact, despite the competition, the Cinci game finished only slightly behind BYU/Arizona---which had comparatively no major competition.

Please show the proper respect to the majority of us who are still wallowing in the misery of low expectations born of the Tuberville era.

on an OTA channel. you put anything on an OTA channel at 8pm and it will get at least a million viewers.

No major competition except for bed-time on the East Coast.

I did watch and enjoyed the second half of the Cincy-UCLA game. Regardless of whether UCLA is any good this year, it's a solid road win on ESPN primetime. Good for Cincinnati and for the conference.
