I'm wondering, when she asked, "Is it August in Colorado?" Was that a rhetorical question or did she really not know? Because I really, seriously think either possibility is in play.

Guess if summertime hail is a symptom of climate change, the Dakotas summertime weather has been predicting climate change for hundreds of years.

The last 2 summers here in Alabama have been fairly mild. No days in triple digits at all and it’ll be in the 80s for the second week in a row.

Colorado has some weird weather. Especially if you are in the mountains.

there's a reason hail season is during the summer months there during thunderstorm season.....

heat rises and when a major level of updraft carrying water droplets to atmospheric freezing then becomes an issue when gravity takes over once it becomes water ice.....

and duh, it moves in as snow during the winter months....hence no hail there unless they get some heat wave anomaly...
