And there's no monopoly on social networking sites

And the right wing does boycotts too.

There's nothing going on here but simple 'just desserts here'

----

No, facebook doesn't need to provide a platform for people who call greiving Newtown parents of dead kids...'crisis actors' and open them up for abuse from unhinged conspiracy theorists.

True, but don't try and hide behind "offensive" as a means to completely censor people on the right.

Perfect example:

Sarah Jeong's Tweets = Free Speech

Candace Owens Tweets the SAME sentence but changes "white" to "Jewish" and suddenly it's HATE.

The hypocrisy has become so obvious there's no use in trying to hide it anymore.

You are free to advocate that facebook google etc remove those people from their platforms.

I'm not going to even get into your attempt to equate Alex Jones with anyone else other than to say..while occasionally you might find one or two intemperate, poorly sourced remarks made by a person on the left....Jones does intemperate and misinformation as a matter of practice.

Intemperate and misinformation. You could easily use those words to describe CNN and BSDNC as well. Suppose it depends on your point of view.

As far as Alex Jones, I don't listen to him, but if a company is going to pawn itself off as a platform for free speech and claim they don't "censor" based on politics, his opinion should no more be considered "hate" than the rubbish spewed by groups such as BLM, ANTIFA, MoveOn, etc.

It's gotten to the point where I don't know how they can justify what their doing and keep a straight face.

You can watch the antithesis of Alex Jones all day long on MSNBC. What’s the big deal?

But how can the "Progressives" control our thoughts if other opinions are allowed?

With Murphy and Blumenthal, Connecticut has the absolute worst representation in DC. And the outgoing Dem Governor has been such a disaster that I think it's very likely the Governorship goes Red. Fingers crossed.

You're saying the GOP pushed the end of net neutrality and the result is letting private providers have control.

So, by inference, the Dems were for net neutrality and stricter government control in an attempt to maintain free speech.

Aren't all these tech companies run by Dems? Wouldn't they police themselves to follow the policies they want enforced?

And therefore in the absence of governmental policies reflecting their own positions, they will blatantly act hypocritically?

Did I get that right?

Cable companies give a LOT of money to Republicans.

None of the tech companies worship anything but the almighty dollar.

OK, now we're getting somewhere.

Of course, we've known this. It's just good that the left recognizes this now as well.

It was blatantly obvious when socially-woke Amazon, Starbucks, etc, argued against increased taxes per head count. I mean, those are taxes that those hipster companies would've had to pay.

The money was going to be used to build affordable housing and furnish support services for the homeless.

But hey, we all know that these bozos touting social justice crap only mean it when it uses other people's $$$.

As I type that I can't help but chuckle as I recall these idiots.

Quote:I'm all the health care plan. I just didn't know I was going to have to pay for it.

Really? You're that stupid?!?!

I guess west-coast educated elitism is too smart for the average Joe.

I have never in my life listened to Alex Jones or so much as I know ever read anything he has written. I turn off conspiracy theory stuff as fast as I can work the remote.

With that said, when the day comes when the thought police come and "remove" a place that you go and read..........I'm sure you will be A-Okay with it and won't *****!!!!!!!

I can easily remember the Libs all full of themselves and lording it over everyone..................until Trump won. They don't see quite the humor in it all now...

Right Mach???

...and with this where are our courageous Republicans protecting us from Hitler like actions like those that Libs like to pursue? Demoncraps just love to control the people however they can, Free Speech be damned.

Straight out of the Communist Manifesto, control their speech, control their weapons and before you know it control where we work and live. Da Comrade.

It's the only fig leaf they can find to try to pin this naked double standard and leftist intolerance on the "victims".

Look around, it's what they do. Frequently.
