Dem Candidate Runs Most Painful, Hilarious Campaign Ad In History
In the running for most stupid Democrat ever?
Quote:A Democratic candidate for the House of Representatives in Colorado with a novel solution for stopping school shootings decided to show exactly how it would work — on himself, in one of the most unintentionally hilarious ads ever put on social media.
Levi Tillemann, running against Jason Crow in the June 26 Democratic primary for the right to square off against incumbent GOP Rep. Mike Coffman, believes the best way to stop school shootings is to arm schools and teachers — with pepper spray.
Thus, in his attempt to show how effective such a strategy would be, Tilleman intentionally had himself pepper-sprayed in the campaign ad, putting himself in tremendous, swollen-eyed pain.
Tilleman begins by stating, “Washington needs more doers and innovators. That’s why I’m running for U.S. Congress. I’m calling on Congress to stop talking past each other and try something new.”
So far, so good. He continues, “Empower schools and teachers with non-lethal self-defense tools.” (He reaches for something off-screen) “Like this can of pepper spray.”

So how does this suppose to work, something like the flag barer but only with mace? Where the first person takes a bullet and goes down trying to mace a guy with a gun. Then the next teacher picks up the can of mace and tries to blind a person shooting a gun and so on and so on?
It might work if you get the drop on the person but lets see which one reaches farther...bullet or spray from a can of mace. Not to mention bullet has the whole body to hit and the mace has a small target that has to be hit.
If you really want to stop or at least attempt to stop all school shootings. You do the exact same thing as they do in courthouses and most government buildings. You put armed guards and medal detectors at each entrance. But that only stops it inside the school.....
it sets up a killing ground on the outside
But lets get real for a second, if someone is crazy enough to actually shoot up a school there's really not a lot we can do to stop that person without knowing before hand. If there were no guns....
the crazy SOB would probably come in with a can of gas and try to burn people to death. It's hard to stop crazy, unless you spot the craziness.
But I guess mace is one option and better than nothing. But facing a crazy person with a gun....most people run away not towards the shooter with a can of mace

The right to self defense is a human right and shouldn't be left at the schoolhouse door.
I agree with teachers being able to defend themselves. But...
Some nut shows up with an AR or couple loaded handguns, some teacher’s gonna get within 12 ft or so to pepper spray him?
Better be a hell of a shot with the aerosol bottle.
