Can you get any more free trade than this?
Quote:Trump has proposed a completely tariff free zone between the G7 nations.
Don’t give him a hard question like that. His IQ can’t handle it.

Depends on who's numbers you use. Canada's numbers say they sell us 14.6 billion more than we sell them. The US numbers say we sell them 7.7 billion more than they sell us. Somebody ain't right.
That said, Trump has proposed ZERO tarriffs with completely free and fair trade between the two countries. So, if they want free and fair trade---why on earth would Canada say no to that?

Fact 1 doesn't mean that they've negotiated fairly or in good faith. It's entirely possible, and given their landscape, almost a certainty that we should have a massive surplus. Free trade isn't the same thing as even trade. You'd think someone who claims to have Mensa qualifications (I've seen nothing to suggest it in a long time of observation) would know this. The fact that you don't, and don't even seem to understand that it's not only possible, but highly probable directly refutes your claim.
Your second part is demonstrably untrue. You may not like his politics or his manner (I know I don't) but to deny that he has savvy and intelligence doesn't make you look smart. According to you and others, he's been able to outfox the FBI et al for years.

He has broken the spirit of every liberal in America - especially here.
Trump has broken their back. And he will set the terms of their surrender.
Nope.
The MSM misled people (signs showed up around 2010ish I believe), and Americans began to FINALLY wisen up to it. DJT knew this - and used the media on itself and destroyed their narrative very early on.
Then the DNC compounded their problems by nominating HRC against the will of very motivated Sanders fans.
I'm not convinced the primary wasn't rigged. Bernie carried a lead most of the way - and then the DNC said "no, we know better than our people".
RE: Pretty boy Trudeau is about to get a real lesson
Well, we buy almost 74% of everything Canada exports and exports account for about 30% of their GDP. Therefore, the U.S. Supplies about 22% of their GDP.
Conversely, Canada buys about 18% of our exports and exports account for about 12% of our GDP. Therefore, Canada supplies about 2% of our GDP.
Question for Mensa, which country would be hurt most by a trade war?

Both. This is why I couldn't vote for Trump. It may work, but it's a very high risk strategy, and there were lower risk ways to accomplish the same results.

Sometimes, often times, short term pain is a necessity for long term success.
Try this, explain to me how the richest nation ever to grace the planet is $20+ trillion in debt? Yes, stupid domestic spending is part of it, but the real reason is that we have spent decades subsidizing dozens of countries around the world. We have spent trillions defending the globe while these other countries spent pennies on their own defense, we have let them have the upper hand in trade policy because they needed the money more than us, we have allowed our companies to off shore production while even incentivizing them to do it through our tax code. All that was well and good when we were a booming country with a young workforce and little relative debt, but those days are over. We are now a debt laden country with a significant aging population and are running short on time to get things corrected.
We need to start worrying about ourselves because if we can't get healthy everyone else is screwed anyway.

I wish we had a leader like Kurz. A conservative that understands diplomacy.
Trump did, and trudeau took it like the little b*tch that he is, and only spoke up after Trump left.
Personification of soy.
Kronke beat me to it. He tried to dupe Trump face-to-face and the other G7 leaders saying at the conclusion of the meetings that there were some "differences" but all in all they made progress and reached some general consensus. AFTER THE SUMMIT, Justin Bieber did a press conference and tried to act all tough and made it out like Trump was being unfair to Canadian workers. He fired the first shot in public if you will. I posted these in another thread last night but will repost if anyone missed them because they tell a lot about The Great Bieber (or insert Beaver) Of The North:
He actually used the words "kind of insulting."
Light weight with manbag gets profiled in about 22 seconds... Time to move on. too freaking funny.

What do you mean by "free trade"?
UM, it's free "teade", C'mon.
In this mensa-mystery fair trade is now "protectionism"...

Lol. How low information can you be. Trump proposed a tariff free zone between the G7 nations at the summit. Why don’t you explain to me why the Europeans called it a non-starter.
